I grew up in South Amboy, NJ and have been playing guitar and performing for over 20 years. My path into guitar tech work started in 2014, when I bought a Tele-style partscaster from a friend. After spending a summer chasing upgrades, I realized that what really made the difference wasn’t new parts, but rather a proper setup. That experience sparked a deeper interest in how instruments function and feel.
Through trial and error, I developed a strong understanding of setup preferences tailored to real-world performance, particularly during my time playing in the New Brunswick music scene.
I later moved to Philadelphia, where I worked as a quality control inspector for a major guitar distributor. There, I learned that nearly any instrument has the potential to play exceptionally well with the right attention to detail.
In 2023, I began touring as a guitar technician with The Front Bottoms. Since then, I’ve worked across the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Australia. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with artists including The Menzingers and Thrice.
